KML files containing the public rights of way of City of Plymouth |
|
The council of the City of Plymouth provide a web page for downloading data that contains details of their public rights of way. Once on that web page, click on the "Explore" button and choose the "Download" option from that button's menu. That'll take you to this GeoJSON file. The council also provides information about their public rights of way in two other ways. There's an online map which you can see by going to this web page, clicking on the "Explore" button and choosing the "Preview" option from that button's menu. They also provide details about their public rights of way in PDF files. It may be that their PDF files use more up-to-date information. An authority's Definitive Map is the authoritative source of their rights of way. The details of the public rights of way network contained in an authority's data are for information only, and are an interpretation of the Definitive Map, not the Definitive Map itself, and should not be relied on for determining the position or alignment of any public right of way. For legal purposes, an authority's data does not replace their Definitive Map. And changes may have been made to the Definitive Map that are not included in their data. The authority's data contains Ordnance Survey data © Crown copyright and database right 2024. Attempting to view this data with more detail than 1:10000 may produce an inaccurate rendering of the route of a public right of way. This web page indicates that the GeoJSON file is made available by the council of City of Plymouth under the terms of the Open Government Licence. So it's possible for you to use this data provided you give the attribution that the data has been provided by the council of City of Plymouth. I have transformed the GeoJSON file into a KML file. |
